^{Day 1: Fly Charlotte Day 2: Explore the museums on a walking tour, see the orchids at the Botanical Gardens, shop at mega malls to outdoor markets Days 3-5 Drive to Wilmington. Take a walking tour of the preserved homes and buildings. Take a riverboat cruise. Sample the outstanding restaurants. Relax at Wrightsville Beach. Days 6-8: Take the spectacular drive along the Outer Banks to Manteo. Stroll the quaint village. Visit the Wright Brothers Memorial. Go paragliding on the dunes. Day 9: Drive inland to and overnight in Raleigh/Durham.  Days 10-14: Continue to Asheville or Blowing Rock. Spend a day at the Biltmore Estate. Take a picnic for a drive on the Blue Ridge Parkway. Enjoy a rail trip on the Great Smoky Mountains Railway. Visit the Cherokee Indian Reservation. Reach the summit of Chimney Rock. Day 15: Fly home.}
